One unlined uchigi can be worn between the hitoe and uwagi casually or five or more color-matched, lined uchigi can be worn as the semi-formal outfit.

This pattern includes two styles of knee- to calf-length kosode and the long, trailing nagabakama with instructions for looping up the nagabakama to ankle-length.
